Nursing Homes and Hospitals

Most nursing homes and hospitals use some form of oxygen. Nursing homes typically use cylinder oxygen or oxygen concentrators while larger hospital systems typically use liquid oxygen systems with primary storage tanks that hold around 6,000-9,000 gallons and backup tanks that hold 500-600 gallons.

The SeprOx Institutional Medical Oxygen System
Once again, the same SeprOx ITM-based system that is being developed for small industrial devices can be used without modification for small institutional oxygen production. Further scale-up to systems capable of generating 1 ton per day (approximately 24,000 SCFD) would permit use by medium to large hospitals thus replacing their liquid oxygen systems.
